Back at headquarters, we are all gathering around the table sharing drinks and celebrating our victory. The Brass Sabre Association has been pushed back and we have taken over that sector. However, someone notices Roka has not come back yet. I com her and ask her where she is. She says she is on her way back and had to ride on the back of a speeder bike with a squib because hers had broken down. She said that they had taken a detour but they were on their way.
Roka arrives a few minutes later with the squib that she had to ride with. She looks perturbed but the Squib looks pleased. He starts bragging that he got to take the prettiest Togruta out to dinner at Callie’s Galleys. The little twi’lek girl that cleans tables for Snaps starts asking Roka about the date. Roka says she is tired and quickly retires to her bunk. Little Liza Jane follows her down the corridor asking her all sorts of questions that an eight year old would ask about a date. It appears that Roka is annoyed by this but she tolerates her just the same. All of a sudden, I hear from beside me “L O V E” start playing. Amp is blasting the song from his chassis. Dominick and I start to laugh hysterically. Roka makes it the rest of the way to her room and closes the door and slams the door. Amp replies “Was it something I said?” which, of course, makes Dominick and I laugh even harder. When everything calms down, Amp asks to take a look at my blaster pistol. I ask him why and he says the he noticed during the battle that my blaster aims a little left and he thinks he can fix it real quick. So I hand him my blaster pistol. After he is finished he suggests that he could add onto my pistol. He gives me several options, and in the end I choose to have a grapple launcher added to my blaster pistol. It costed 300 credits, but I think it is well worth the cost. I guess it is Karaoke night because music starts playing and drunks start singing, or some form of noise. I am just about ready to retire when Little Liza gets up on stage and starts to sing. The whole cantina seems to stop when she starts to sing. She sing a song about “the good ship Lollipop” and tap dances while she sings. My heart just melts inside by the time she is done with her performance. Eventually, Karaoke is over with and we all retire to our rooms to sleep off the battle.

I am with the rebel alliance commando team. We have pushed them back into the intersection. They cannot make it to the bus station because of the Striking Nexu. They cannot go right or left of the intersection for some reason. They cannot get out… I called for reinforcements and they are coming. However, I hear the ping of blaster pistols hitting the wall above my head. I shoot the enemy dead. I call again for reinforcements and they reassure me that they are on their way. I just hope that it is not too late… They have arrived and are piling out of the truck on the skybridge next to me. Dom saddles up next to me and said “what is going on?” I say “The BS cannot get out. Let’s get rid of these Sithspawn once and for all!” “Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?” asks Dom as he leans out and takes a pot shot at one of them. The shot was so well aimed that he hit him right in the chest, knocking him backward and exposing his two friends. Out of the back of the truck jumps Amp, Dom’s droid friend. He walks up to me and says “Long time, no see” The enemy group fires on Shavven. He ducks into cover just in time to see a hailstorm of blaster fire come barrelling down the hallway. Amp peeks out of his cover. He sees three Brass Sabres in a group. He shoots two through the head and the third in the shoulder with one blast. Liam aims at a group around the corner. He hits the concrete next to the enemy and sprays concrete into their guns and they have to stop and clean their guns. Their armor is weakened by half. I move up, take cover and throw a frag grenade at the closest group. I miss the group but hit them with blast. The grenade hits an advertisement sign and knocks it down on top of the group. They are now pinned. Amp determined the right weak point of the skybridge that the enemy is on so that Liam can shoot out the bridge from under them. Liam takes aim and… HIT! Liam steps up to the parapet, puts his foot on the edge squares his shoulder and fires. As the missile steaks in to the bridge nine people plummet to their deaths. Shavven is tossing a grenade at the group that is running. He blasts one guy off the bridge but does not touch the other. They turn and try to shoot at him. Liam powers up his jet pack and shoots off after a group. He goosed the throttle a little too hard. He lands on the end of the broken bridge. I move up another range band, aim and fire my rifle. I miss. Dom starts up the truck and starts my way. As he is going by, I grab the cab and sling myself inside and grab my blaster pistol to ready it. Amp lit off his grenade launcher (M9 Boomer) and he took out 5 people. It burst in the air above their heads and the debris killed them. Jix was concentrating so hard on his shooting that he tripped on garbage and falls on his face XD… Shavven throws a frag grenade blindly. He hits and kills one. Happy throws his guns down and talks into his comm “Stand down, stand down! This battle is over!” I detain Happy. He says, “I will tell you everything, just dont kill me?” Just then I hear a loud crack, and a hole appears in his chest… I look behind me and I see a figure in white armor. Helmet off, long brown hair. She has a tripod blaster rifle that she is packing up… She somehow makes the turbo lift rise, even though they were deactivated. I loot the body and I find a “Hush 98 comlink” . Sweet upgrade from my own alliance standard comlink. 2 weeks have gone by and no progress has been made against the Brass Sabres. However, the attack has worked in our favor. Our popularity has increased with the local population, and they are more willing to deal with the Golden Hawkbats. On the last run, Derryn has brought Dari Edo, an ambassador for the Alliance, Major Yurist Wain as her bodyguard, Major Dex Adler, and Master Gunnery Sergeant Rolim Korr.
In the last two weeks Telvak has been chasing some bounty that he cannot talk about. Sounds a little shady to me, but I decided not to press the issue. My job here is to help free Drukenwell from Imperial hands, not stop every shady crime syndicate that may be held on this planet. Shavven was complaining about this week not being pay week, but I pretty much told him to get over it. Not my problem. Dominick took another leadership class. He participated in a"Build a Business Competition" and walked away with a 100 credit purse out of the deal. Guess he's good, although building things have never been my domain, sabotage is more my strength. A Chiss named "Hyper" came in on the last shipment of troops and she has just been kind of hanging around the Cantina and getting to know the Golden Hawkbats. Roka is playing errand girl for Snaps and Jix challenged Sylvester for the Head Mechanic position and not only failed, but Sylvester took away all access to his tools, making it harder for Jix to fix his ship. Telvak, Dom and I went to talk to Telvak's gang to try to recruit them tot he Alliance and to see if we could use his Dojo for training purposes. The gang leader agreed to join the Alliance but did not agree for us to use his dojo. The Alliance military has brought a special forces team. To get things up and running, they have to establish a tactical network. There is a Com Relay Station a few blocks away from the Swoop Inn. We send Hyper and Wolf to scout out a path to the relay station. I wasn't sure it was the best idea because Hyper is awful attractive and I was right because Wolf was so distracted that he forgot that there are three turbo lifts leading to where we need to go. One is right down the street from the Swoop Inn, one a ways to the left of the Cantina. Supposedly the third is through a tunnel a little ways away so we send them to scout it out. Hyper sees a few pedestrians in the tunnel but nothing out of the ordinary. I look around the Cantina and notice that Telvak is not there. I guess he got tired of waiting for the scouts to return because next thing I know I hear through the coms Wolf and Hyper yell in surprise as he zooms past them and up the turbo lift at the end of the tunnel. Wolf and Hyper attempt to catch up to Telvak but to no avail. Then Telvak trips, allowing Wolf to catch up to him. Wolf catches him and they go up the turbo lifts together. When Hyper get there she hits the big red override button, making Telvak and Wolf descend. She then takes the other turbo lift that is there up. As she is going up, Telvak jumps from his turbo lift and lands ever to ungracefully onto Hyper's lift. Hyper looks on the top of her lift and sees his and says "Heck no" and closes the door to the top of the lift. Wolf finally arrives at the bottom of the lift and tells people that the turbo lift is out of service for cleaning and they go to lodge a complaint with the authorities. Telvak and Hyper reach their destination and then wait for Wolf. Hyper look for signs of the relay station. She sees nothing of importance. At the end of the bridge are two security officers. They walk past the officers and the Wolf high fives one of the officer! The officer gives him a dirty look. They reach the entrance of the relay station and Hyper and Wolf enter. Telvak breaks off to look for a back way in. At this time the rest of the group is heading towards the coms tower. We reach the lifts and cross the bridge without any trouble. As we cross the bridge, we hear blaster shots. Telvak informs us he is under attack and so Dom, Roka, and I head for the alley where we hear the blaster shots. Jix heads for the entrance of the Station. By the time we reach Telvak he has already taken care of the issue and he is stripping them and putting the bodies in a dumpster. I remind him that is was great thinking to take the armor for possible infiltration but they are an all human gang and none of us are human. Jix disguises himself as a mechanic that does not work in a garage, fabricates a work order for the cafe that is inside the station and deceives the worker into thinking that he is there to fix something of theirs. I am ordered by Dom to head to the cafe in case poodoo hits the fan, so to speak. I sit in a booth close to the mechanical closet with my holsters ready, just in case there is trouble. Dom finds a taxi terminal to snipe from. He can see right into the mechanical room. He links in through the HUD and sees a security droid the Jix's HUD and Jix puts on his shock gloves. Telmak and Roka links in through one of the gang members HUD by turning the helmet over and looking through the hole. Roka gives Jix the schematics for the droid so that when Jix shocks it will turn off. Dom puts a big circle around the droid's off and puts a sign on it that says "Shock Here". He obviously doesn't get it though, so he opens the back door and let Roka and Telvak in. Roka walks up to the droid and takes out the battery. The server tower they are looking for is behind a protocol droid. The droid asks him why they are there. Jix attempts to tell it that he is there to work on the server tower but the droid does not believe him. Roka walks up next to Jix and pulls the work order out of his pocket and says "You forgot this, boss". The droids then okays it and go to their charging stations and power down. Roka tries to hack the computer servers but fails once, she succeeds a second time. Like to old saying, "If at first you don't succeed, try again". Roka then reprograms the battery and replaces it in the security droid and they get out. Jix goes out the front, and the rest go out the back. Jix charges the clerk for his "services" and is payed out of petty cash. We all walk out of the cafe one at a time, to not arouse suspicion. I guess this counts as a mission accomplished, though not a conventional win... I have spent the last two weeks teaching Snaps' mercenaries how to shoot and defend themselves. It does not seem like they are getting it, save the Besalisk, Jix Hyde. Dominick has taken an online leadership course, how he did I am not sure since it is hard to get reception enough for me to even communicate with my superiors. He has also been watching, amused, at the progress I have made with the men.
We hear a blast coming from the garage so we go down to investigate. We see a Zabrak standing in our garage. He says that his name is Telvak. He is from another gang and has heard that the Golden Hawkbats are getting Alliance help and was hoping that we would help his, too. We see the main doors to the garage has been blown in and we hear multiple DC-15S firing. All of Snaps' gang decide to peek around the corner. Guess I will have to add 'not everyone has to look around the corner' to my regimen I think to myself as I fight the urge to do a face palm. Hermit decides to take a random pot shot and takes out an enemy. Good for him he is learning. Around the corner, I learn, is the rival gang, the ones causing all of the problems in the lower level, the Brass Sabres. Telvak was able to push some of the main bay door into the door jam to provide enough cover for 3 people. He, Shavven, and Hermit take the position behind the door and Roka moves to hide behind the doorjam. Dominick takes off to take sniper position up on the roof of the office area. He gets a visual on the leader and sends it to our HUDs. Those who do not have a HUD he send to a nearby vid-screen. It says "Priority Target" in big red letters so I get my long rifle ready. I do not recognize him but a couple of the gang members tell me that his name is "Happy" Harry Malone and is the leader of the Brass Sabres. I hear Dominick contact Derryn to tell him that we are under attack. Jix and Telvak attempt to throw a speeder but the speeder is tethered to the wall. I take a shot at "Happy". I see him grab his right shoulder and his face winces in pain. I take another shot at him, and I distract the gang members. I miss and Happy runs away like the coward he is. I see the all familiar shape of a YT-2400 come down for a landing. I see something is not quite right with the ship but Derryn seems able to patch it up on the fly. He hovers sideways and I see the ramp open. I see a large lizard like creature in the bottom turret and a human on the ramp with a familiar sight: an E-web. I take cover behind the wall. Suddenly, the room is laced with fire as the human shoots the E-Web. He has taken 2 guys out and wounded a third. The lizard then shoots from his turret and kills 2 more guys and wounds another. I look across the garage where Vosh, a Gand mechanic is trying to rig a battery bomb to his blaster. Unfortunately, he mixes up the wires and ends up draining the charge on his blaster. A bright light diverts my attention back to Derryn's ship. I look just in time see the first group melt where they stand. I have seen a lot of gruesome things in my lifetime but you never get used to seeing someone melt from laser cannons. The final has apparently never seen anything like it because they start running away. Good, that'll teach them to mess with us I thought. All of a sudden, I see lizard man fire his turret and annihilate all of the final group. I feel that was unjustified and for a minute I feel angry. But I guess it was probably for the best. They didn't leave their weapons so they were still a threat so I bite my tongue. Telvak rushes toward the 2 gang members still alive and raises his melee weapon. They surrender before he gets to them. He considers killing them anyways but then relents and takes their weapons instead. He marches them inside for interrogations. We pick through the mess of bodies. I find 2 stimpacks and I pocket them. Shavven finds and growls out a poem. Even though his voice is not very pleasant to listen to, we all feel inspired when he is finished. Vosh charges his blaster back up on a speeder battery. We now have 2 prisoners to interrogate. Telvak robs them dry and jabs the wounded one in the shoulder to try and extract information from him. Add 'how to interrogate prisoners' to the list. My mental list is getting pretty long. Derryn convinces them that their boss abandoned them and tells them to tell him where their boss is hiding out. The wounded prisoner says that the Golden Hawkbats should know where their boss is and to ask them. I can see that we are not getting anywhere so I tell Derryn that I got this and I tell them that since their boss has abandoned them they are now homeless. I tell them that there is protection and room in the Golden Hawkbats if they will fight with us. The wounded one thought that would be nice but died before I could completely convince him. His buddy, though, ended up converting to the Golden Hawkbats. So we now have Alliance backup, and 2 more under city recruits to the group. The cantina is so smoky you can hardly see through it. The first thing you notice are the crashed swoop bikes hanging from the ceiling. There are shelves lining the wall filled with helmets that, from the looks of the scratches and the cracks in the helmets, honor the dead swoop bikers. Above the bar is a HoloTV that is playing a swoop race. Whether the race is live or an old race, I cannot tell. Displayed in one corner are a couple of arcade swoop racing games. In another corner is a dartboard, where a group of patrons are playing a semi-friendly game. Along the bar is a track where a couple of miniature swoop bikes "race" around. There are a few drunks around the bar. Twi'lek females dance on stage while males stare lustfully at them. Such is the daily life in the Swoop Inn, I would expect, I thought as I entered the cantina with Derryn Dunekicker and his brother Dominick.
There is a Besalisk in one of the booths, accompanied by a Duros and a Twi'lek. The Besalisk seems to be staring at me so I shoot him a dirty look. Too many years of a soldier has hardened the ASO performer I used to be. I notice a Shistavanen in the corner spills his drink when he sees me. Interesting reaction, but I have seen that before, too. Derryn identifies the Twi'lek as Angelo "Snaps" Provolone and signals us to keep our post. He starts toward Snaps when he is stopped by the bouncer, a Herglic apparently named Bob. Bob says "If you are here to see Snaps, You have to talk to me first." Derryn somehow convinces Bob that it was OK and Bob takes him to Snaps. Derryn sits down next to the group. The Duros says "I think your rebel contact is here." Derryn replies sarcastically, "Ya think?" He explains that "Ice Man" (Dom) and I are here to train Snap's men and that the Flying Bantha Trading Company are working on getting firearms for the gang. Derryn's 2nd father is in full swing of the star fighter production, to which everyone but the Besalisk was clueless as to what "2nd father" means. Derryn continues "The alliance is willing to provide arms and fighters as long as you are willing to help take the planet back from the Imperials." Snaps replies "I am only worried about down here, then we will see about up there." Derryn says "We are all in. You can expect your first delivery in about a week." Then Derryn asks if there is a place down here to land his ship. Snaps says "Yea it is down below" and gives him clearance to land. Derryn leaves Dom and I here. Snaps and the Besalisk leaves to go to the garage. He ends up giving an OLD republic scout that is literally stripped to the frame and the engine is gone. He says "If you can fix it, you can have it." A few minutes later, Derryn arrives with his ship. He lands it and lowers the ramp. Snaps wants to see the goods so Derryn leads him on board and shows him the firearms. There are crates of DC-15s and DC-17s. Snaps examines the guns and chooses two DC-17s to keep for himself. Back up in the cantina, we find out that the Duros name is Hermit Cath, and he is basically a mercenary and wants a job that pays cash, not in food only, the Shistavanen is a demolition happy alien named Shavven that is a little psychotic when you get a few drinks in him, the Besalisk's name is Jix Hide and is a mechanic for the garage Undertow. A group arrived on Drukenwell looking for a bounty on some Nexu's that had escaped their owner, dead or alive. On the way of hunting down these Nexu, the party came across a group of swoop gangers, who decided to follow them. After defeating the Nexu, the swoop gangers were asked why they were following the party. Turns out, they wanted to know what we were going to do with the dead Nexu (yes, I said DEAD Nexu) and they told the gang that they could have it. The gang was happy to hear that but then informed the group that they needed help down in the lower parts of Drukenwell. There was a rival gang of humans that were getting their firepower from the Imperial Army to "keep the peace". While there were always rivalry between these gangs, they always settled their problems on the track, however, lately there has been some bombings and random killings coming from this gang. They asked the party for help and the leader of the group, Derryn Dunekicker, said that the Alliance may be able to help them out as far as training their men and providing firearms. The gangs seemed grateful and said they would inform their boss...
